week 9 boc metrosexual

Being metro sexual does not by any definition mean someone is gay. Being metro sexual means that someone of one sex, contains similar characteristics to someone of the opposite sex. They can lead happy, healthy, heterosexual lives. "think of him as the anti-metrosexual, the opposite of that guy who emerged in the 1990s in all his pedicured, moussed-up, skinny-jeans glory. That man-boy was searching for his inner girl, it was argued. The retrosexual, however, wants to put the man back into manhood."http://www.divinecaroline.com/22264/38996-metrosexual-hipster-i-ll-take-neitherYou are pretty much right on the money. I believe people get more abuse for being metro sexual than homosexual just because they stand out more. People have a way of making too many assumptions. "Although metrosexual men were not responsible for bringing about the new gender revolution, they certainly succeeded in encapsulating much of it. While the term has fallen out of vogue, many of the changes associated with the metrosexual movement have survived".http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/therapy-matters/201104/where-did-all-the-metrosexuals-go. its not that big deal anymore it first came out if you look at now everybody doing it."A metrosexual may or may not appeal to everyone – whether women are attracted to them, or men aspire to be more like them. In any case, whether society ever becomes comfortable enough to truly embrace them, remains to be seen".http://www.onlinedatingmagazine.com/columns/datinginsideout/32-metrosexual.html

brini Maxwell is a really crazy person everything is retro and its a men too its crazy thats a dude dress up like a women and doing alot of shows"Unlike other male hosts of domestic programs such as Christopher Lowell, who only does interior design, or cooking with Emeril and even Queer eye for the Straight guy, Brini Maxwell’s show instructed viewers on fashion, manners, decorating, entertaining, cooking, and home repair. Like her female predecessors, Brini Maxwell was a full-service domestic diva, with one small difference: she was a he.” (Brand Story, Joseph Hancock, Pg.152)
Ben Sander did alot of thinking to come up with his charcter Brini Maxwell. “Sander’s collection of cookbooks, magazines, furnishings, and other mid-century delights would be used in every episode.” The Brini Maxwell show was on national televeison. After that happen the show kept getting more upgraded to new networks and new shows.
I think that Brini is targeted to young and older people get them that retro feel. target to women that stay at home and have kids.
the podcasts and videos on iTunes are great ideal. they market to all types of people. with this they can make they market better and bigger.

week 8 eoc

Most people have a strong attachment to their bags because they have a strong feelings about they bag. it also make them a part of higher status in life."For many women, purse shopping has changed from just finding an adequate accessory to being almost an obsession; a guilty pleasure.” (Brand Story, Joseph Hancock. Pg.126)
theres alot of fashion company i like out there, but some of them i cant afford. If I had to pick my favorite brand i would pick nudies. nudies bags are cool and stylish made with 100% raw denim jeans and handmade.
I think the company has definitely found their niche with children’s bags. its seem like they more focus on kids bag more now. thats they really big income. to me the their website that I really like, where they put up photos of their bags with celebrities. I think they have found a really great way to brand themselves in a cool way. they pay people to take picture with famous people using there bags.
I think it was brilliant that the company decided to pursue graphic design as well as bag design. cant really go wrong with graphic design and hand bags perfect combo. i think the brand is all that and more when comes to bags. who really designes bags like that now nobody. its a good thing and bad thing for them. for me im a dude so i dont have a bag (laugh). but if i had a bag it would laptop bag and i would buy of here bags for that.

I want to be the next Johnny cupcake. I really like how he branded his self like that. “The Johnny Cupcakes success story is extraordinary. By the ripe old age of 26, Johnny Earle had launched a multimillion dollar company that continues to grow through a type branding referred to as viral fashion branding. All of Johnny’s fashion branding has been implemented through self-promotion, word of mouth, or by using electronic methods such as e-mail and the internet.” (Brand Story, Joseph Hancock, Pg.109) For my clothing company I want to be able use viral fashion branding as a means to promote the company I want to do a lot Facebook and blogs, giveaways to get my name out there. boc week8

i been thinking for a long time for now of a great product. somebody should really make a pair of sunglasses with wiper on them. that would be so sweet because just picture yourself walking or running early morning it started to rain really heavy. why should you stay in and miss your workout. thats when wipe away comes in handy. so while you run or whatever you doing in the rain. the wipers will wipe off all the rain or dirty from your sunglasses. wipe away will turn on automatic when ever water or anything that wet hit it. alot of people can use these likes cops, golfers, people that play tennins or people that go fishing. they would be the coolest shades out there. a nice cool laid-back look comes in all colors and styles. even the lens comes in different colors with a mix between ray ban and oakley shades.

week 7 eoc

Viral Fashion branding is a type of company branding that becomes successful by self-promotion, word of mouth, or by using electronic devices. how johnny use it he made tons of money at a young age. no marketing company help him market his company. see you dont it right you can make a lot of money. but if you do it wrong your company can fail. he created a loyal customers base on his own terms
Johnny Cupcakes do a lot of little things to make their customers feel special. The company added surprises to the boxes when filling internet orders. Customers would find items such as trading cards featuring ninja turtles, Ghost busters, when people order stuff. to me thats pretty cool to do that. that will make the customers super happy. the product line and marketing campaigns continue to reflect Johnny’s passion for popular culture. Many of his T-shirt designs mimic ideologies that are reflective of twentieth –century style and popular logo design
In my opinion Johnny Cupcakes is a very unique brand. I think his story is amazing. He is a very passionate individual that built his brand fast and smart. but i dont really like him its designs are cool as hell. why i dont like him because i see myself in him some what. like the whole line thing and all. he beat me to the punch. but he just make me come even harder with my new designes.
